Comcast Caps Internet Usage

In the Verge’s recent story

Many small businesses run out of the owner’s home.  Comcast’s plans to cap internet usage to 1.2 TB monthly is incredibly bad for small business.

At a time when most customers, small businesses, and employees are relying more heavily on cloud services to maintain their lives Comcast is treating internet usage as a luxury.

Digital Convergence has been a priority for small and medium-sized businesses during the pandemic.   This has helped them keep in touch with their customers and allowed them to pay their employees.

Hopefully, alternative vendors will step into the void left open by Comcast.  Maybe Elon Musk’s Starlink or 5G can make this irrelevant.
