New phishing email campaign impersonates US postal service to deliver malware – TechRepublic

A New Post over at TechRepublic:

Proofpoint researchers observed thousands of emails trying to deploy malicious Microsoft Word attachments in the US, according to the report. The emails impersonated messages from the United States Postal Service and were part of a campaign to infect systems with the IcedID banking trojan.
