First Cyber Attack ‘Mass Exploiting’ BlueKeep RDP Flaw Spotted in the Wild

Https://Twitter.Com/Unix_Root writing for The Hacker News:

Cybersecurity researchers have spotted a new cyberattack that is believed to be the very first but an amateur attempt to weaponize the infamous BlueKeep RDP vulnerability in the wild to mass compromise vulnerable systems

Microsoft has issued patches to stop the exploit but without the patches being applied to all Microsoft based servers this exploit is set to create havoc for several months. RDP is used with a lot of risk as a cheap shortcut for better alternatives. If you have a firewall hole created so your company can use such a tool – it is very unlikely your patches are up to date.
